Procter & Gamble Co. (PG) is the biggest announcement (in terms of market cap) in the industry this week on Thursday. The company has posted a 4.12% gain in stock price since about the time of its last earnings release, while the Personal Products industry overall has returned 5.92% gain in the same period.

 

Investors will watch the PG release closely as it may be an indicator for the stocks that follow it this week in the same industry and the overall health of the group.

 

Also filing and hosting a call this week is Colgate-Palmolive Co. (CL) on Thursday. The stock boasts a market cap of $38.74B and has seen a 4.07% gain in value since around the time of its previous earnings announcement. Industry peer Avon Products Inc. (AVP) is the third largest stock in the industry to post this week and will release earnings Thursday.
