Guys, looks like we're breaking to the upside. The next resistance for the kiwi isn't until 57. I'm in it short at 55 but am seriously considering covering right now. The news is having the opposite effect as it was before.

Even though there has been bad news coming out of New Zealand, including their own Prime Minister feeling their currency may go to 50, it's not making that move and all my charts showed that it was going up but you guys thought this might be temporary. What are your thoughts now and why? Thanks

NZD/USD intraday: intraday support around 0.5775.
Pivot: 0.5775
Our preference: Long positions above 0.5775 with targets @ 0.59 & 0.593 in extension.
Alternative scenario: Below 0.5775 look for further downside with 0.57 & 0.566 as targets.
Comments: the RSI is supported by a rising trend line.

This is the latest updates for this pair. Hope it would help. These updates is send to me by my broker.

looked at the video and hope you're right this time. moves on the aussie and kiwi have been going in the opposite direction of your analysis as of late. let's see what happens... are you basing your analysis strictly on technicals?
hope you had a nice vacation.

The ensuring recovery stalled just above .5275/77 before losing ascending trend line support. This highlighted a head and shoulders top. A convincing loss of .5200 delays recovery hopes and will refocus the .5000 handle.

My bullish tendencies toward the AUD/USD and the NZD/USD are both technical and fundamental. I see the prices of commodities rising as we head into the summer and start to see some traction on the financial steps governments around the globe are taking to stem this recession and free up credit markets. I see this rise in commodity prices helping the Australian dollar (AUD) and the New Zealand dollar (NZD)---especially as the Chinese economy regains momentum. The potential inverted head-and-shoulders patterns that have been developing have shown that now may be the time these currency pairs turn around. It's not a guarantee it will be now, but I'd hate to miss the upswing when it comes.

When looking at these 2 pairs; I'm missing the inverted head & shoulders you referred to.

What time frame are you looking at?
