Great lesson!
I never thought about "selling naked puts" this way.
One can extrapolate this logic to currency pairs as well.

Yeah I agree - I think the point is that his is more suitable for longer term investors rather than short term traders. A shorter term trader is probably trying to avoid any exercise at all. When you think about it - this is really just a covered call in reverse. Very similar risk/reward profile.
